Unhappy Please sort out these Errors

hi,
When i deleted the files from my TEMP folder (in Local Settings) , i got this error:

The instruction as "0x7c91142e" referenced memory at "0x80808080". The memory could not be "read".

Also when i was using a ripping software , i got this error:

Access violation at address 7C911BF4 inthe module 'ntdll.dll'. Write of address 80808080

please tell me why such an error occurs and how shall i rectify it?

Finding a program named ntdll.exe running on your pc is usually a sign that your computer has possibly been infected with a trojan known as 'bionet.404'.

ntdll.exe is considered to be a security risk, not only because antivirus programs flag bionet.404 trojan as a trojan, but also because other sites consider it a Trojan as well.

bionet.404 trojan is likely a Trojan and as such, presents a serious vulnerability which should be fixed immediately! Delaying the removal of ntdll.exe may cause serious harm to your system and will likely cause a number of problems, loss of data, loss of control or leaking private information.

you should visit free spyware removal page to make sure your system does not have other programs like ntdll.exe.

I think ur antivirus is not allowing to run this file..so access violaton error is coming.

but see this link too..before deleting the file

^^
Its ntdll.dll not ntdll.exe. So this problem has nothing to do with this trojan!

@Pragadheesh

Access violation errors usually occur, if u don't hv permissions for something! If u r not logged in as admin, then try to login as admin and check whether this problem again occur or not?

And if this doesnt help, then d/l ntdll.dll file from here and raplce the existing ntdll.dll file with the new one! coz the exising file may be corrupt?

the answer to your question is partly in your answer only:-
[The instruction as "0x7c91142e" referenced memory at "0x80808080". The memory could not be "read".]
it is because your OS cannot read or find that location in your memory which is referenced by the name"0x80808080"

no trojan is installed..
only way is to use your WIN CD to repair the OS

When is this error occurring? Like, is it when you open a file/app or when you print, etc?
What is the .exe reported on the message?
Did you install any new driver/update?

for the The memory could not be "read". error ..some times ...it happens that the file is already deleted fm disk speacially if its a temp file created by any soft/winrar etc..but its still visible in explorer..so when u try to del it ...xp doesnt find the file and gives the above error..nothing much 2 worry about it

well now for ntdll.dll.. if u got XP SP2, then it may be "Data Execution Prevention" (DEP) error. Turn off DEP in the XP control panel

1.click the Start button at the bottom left of your screen
2.click the Control Panel menu item
3.then double-click the System icon.
4.Click the Advanced tab
5.Find the item marked Performance right under there is a button that says Settings.
6.Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
7.You'll see two options in that window click the second option that says "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select."
8. when you are finished with that then click the 'add...' button it should be visable at the bottom of the box. then you have to find where the file 'explorer.exe' resides on your computer most of the time it's something like this c:\windows\explorer.exe anyway add explorer to that list. It'll give you a warning just ignore it and click ok. Then you reboot and if you try it everything should work just fine.

OR u can try this

Right click My Computer. Click properties. Choose the advanced tab. click environment variables. if you have a system variable called "NLSPATH" you need to delete it or rename it (select the variable, click edit, and change the name). Note that this might mess up what put NLSPATH there in the first place.

"Scandisk doesn't exist in NT based systems. XP uses CHKDSK, and there's no easy way to automate it via a script. If a disk/partition/volume is in use, it will have to be dismounted. For your system drive, this usually means that it has to be done after a reboot. Open a command prompt and type CHKDSK /? for the command line options."

here are some solutions

Inside of Windows you can also go to the Command Promt and type chkdsk or chkdsk/r

OR

without any windows gui restart press F8 select safemode with command prompt. CD c:\ [enter]
C:\chkdsk /r [enter]
the "r" repairs

OR

go into my computer and right click on the drive u want to scandisc....a box will pop up....u want to click the tools tab....click error checking....check the two boxes that are there....and click start....it will tell you that it will run scandisc on the next start up....i cant find another way to do it but to restart the pc and then it will do it for you automatically...hope this helps ya.
