Exclamation ethernet cable


I m planning to make a simple point to point network using a NIC card
Can any one help me out in finding what type of Cable to use? which is best
CAT 5 or CAT 6 type?

cat 5 cable as it is cheaper .
difference lies in the transfer capability of both.
cat5 makes use of two twisted pair cables whereas cat6 uses all 4 twisted cables for data transfer with speed uptu 1000 mbps over 100mts.
or use cat5e instead , there are also cat 7 cables .
