Default Zonealarm Application woe !

I am using zonealarm freeware ( i.e. only firewall). 2 months back i have upgraded win 98 to win 2k. , continued to use the same zonelab version. now it it time to update the version. i have downloaded the 13 mb file 3 times, but still it is giving me the same message that "this is not a valid win 32 apllication". what to do ? unless i update the firewall; it's of no use.

pls. suggest.

corrupted download is the most possible cause. are you downloading through a proxy. Sometime the proxy corrupts the files. Also is the version the correct one for your os?

If it's corrupted download it again. Otherwise , instead of upgrading, download the
latest version from www.zonelabs.com. Uninstall the older version, reboot the PC.
Install the newer version. Finished!! Use FlashGet as the Download Manager.
