Post Animation/Special FX

Hi friends
I need some genuine help regarding courses and some top animation schools from around the globe.
Am currently pursuing Computer Engineering in a college in pune...3rd year.I want to do specialisation in Animation or special effects in films abroad.
I've known that some best colleges are located in Canada like the Sheridan college, but am unaware of other second best colleges.
Can any1 with sufficient knowlegde can guide and help me by throwing some light on such colleges and courses
I've a creative bent of mind and being an animator or visual FX expert has been my dream since my 7th or 8th grade.
So please help me ...your knowledge can lead me to my final destination.
Hoping to get a good response

in canada u can join Vancuvar film institute, one of the top animation & compositing institutes in the world

however, i would say u first find out what your interest is in, compositin, animation, or modeling, then find an institute acording to that, it's not like india doesn't have great institutes

Well thanks saurav n rahul for ur replies....i'll check out the sites of the respective colleges u specified.
Well saurav,i've already decided it's like animation or special FX,am bent on the creative side but at the same time am also an engineer so it's like creating a bridge between art and tech.
Special FX in films will be more enticing ...i suppose!!!
Pour in the replies ....
