Audio from Movie????????

Does anyone know how we can extract only the audio from a movie like say, a song or the sort?

And don't worry abt this topic being already discussed, it is not....

Please help me out with links.......

You can make use of a software named "Virtual Dub". Just make a search in google with the above said name. you will get a software of about 3 to 4 MB's. I think so it is the cheapest way to get the audio from the movie because it a freeware.

hmmmmmmm
if u wanna extract from DVD VOB's then u can also use dvd2avi !!
and use the save WAV feature
alternatively u can compress to mp3 ...
but again ull need a cuttin software to extract the particular clip u want
this will rip the whole movie sound !!
u can use mp3splitter if uve said audio as mp3

PS i think this works on avi's etc too !

its simpler to use than virtualdub ...
fiddle ard with VD tho .. its worth it ... gr8 piece of software .

You can use VCDcutter by Jiao systems to extract the audio from a selected portion of the movie.But make sure that in the Options mp3 is selected as the type of extracted file.

Use Movie Maker if u have Windows XP ... nothings easier than that ...

Open the video file ... take watever parts AUDIO u need to the TIMELINE ..

go to tools and select START NARRATION ... WOILA ... it does the rest ... saves it as a .wma file.

If video in .avi format ...

Use Adobe Premiere ...

It has an option for recording only Audio !!
