ax3 Cool as a CUCUMBAR ! ! ! Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 5,052	Photoshop basic help ! ! ! My frd told me 2 create a wallpaper for his bootskin of 640x480, 4-bit, 16 colors palette ....... i couldnt get him ..... can anybody explain abt 4-bit thing 2 me ???? am confused ........

This image must be 640x480 bmp. About 16 color palette means it can have only 16 colors and must be saved as 4-bit image. __________________ i generally prefer quality over quantity 1 aadi + 1 aadi = 1 full ;)

it means 2 to the power of 4 or 2 multiplied by itself 4 times.
