PATA to SATA cloning

Hi,

Is it possible to connect SATA disk to my old PATA disk & clone it so that i can upgrade to SATA easily & dump my PATA disks.

And also, is external USB casing available for SATA disks so that it can be used for backups too?

sure u can connect a pata and sata and backup !!
just as u would normally do it
not sure abt the ext. casing tho !! ... dun think so

Sure you can do that. And dump the dumb PATAs quick. The performance gain is substantial. Not sure about the external USB thingy. But your drive is best inside the cabinet.

nuthin substantial abt that
neither is the 150 mbps rated speed reached
