how 2 change desktop icon text color?

can any1 tell me how to change the colour of text in the icon , the text color in the icon is white which is matching with my desktop and hence creating a problem, i tried 2 change its color, but the option is disabled in desktop/properties/appearance, is there any tweak available to change the color ??

Go to Desktop>Properties>Desktop>Color. Set it to white or any other light colour your font will be black.

thxn 4 reply, i changed the desktop color to white, the icon text on the desktop is still white , but , the color of icon text in all other folders(except desktop) have changed to black ..
