It's not free everywhere. I think they charge at the airports(not sure).
Wi-fi is free at a couple of malls here.

Yup, wifi is not free at all places. they charge around 35 bucks at airports. They charge u thru prepaid cards. Further, it is free only in few zones.

In Pune, they had started wifi hotspot in camp area n I heard they wer offering arnd 2mbps (net speed n not wifi speed) for free for 2 weeks. After that I dont know wht happend. Can u confirm casanova if wifi hotspot is still there n how much r the charges?

they r everywhere,just check for signs that say.....Wi-Fi Zone.....
Just dont go to dhabas and check 4 that sign....u have to go to big places like airports,hotels,hardware shops,etc.

Heard some of the Barista's frm all over the country do have wifi access. Dont knw if its free or free upto a limit... or if dey add the charges in ur coffee bill
