Man Please Help Me

i ma facing a virus problem this days...it came from yahoo messenger when i was chattin wid my friend..and something came www.HTTP://WWW.NBCHENGDA.COM/IMAGTE60.COM ...and i clicked it and virus alert came .....i thought my friend wants to show some image but no it was a virus....it bothers me evrytime i chat ...it sends automatic message from me like check this and the site name .....it occurs every 2 min and it is driving me nuts..
so can some one please tell what to do..please help me

install a good av like nod32 or kaspersky or avast!(free version)

I clicked on the link from windows....but nothing happened?? A lost domain etc something like that opened!! Neways stop using IE and use firefox and if u do...then goto tools->option->content and disable "allow website to install software".
Also update ur antivirus and windows with latest autopatcher and use a descent firewall like zonealarm!!
It seems ur win OS is left without any patching.
