Default Song recording from sound card


Hi All,

Was just wondering how to record a song without a mic when its being played. I have some protected wma files which wont play without those license acquisition and take quiet a while and if there is no active internet connection, they just dont play. So if someone can put some light

sure...so many 3rd party software out there.... but of curz u can use 2 Win Progs:

1. Sound Recorder: Its in Accessories -> Entertainment

Click on Edit and 'Audio Properties'
In the 'Sound Recording" tab click Volume
Then Options -> Properties , Select Recording and check the 'Stereo Mixer' below. Click OK

Now in Recording Control make sure 'Stereo Mixer' has the 'Select' button checked.
Go back to Soundrecorder and Record!!

Note: If the quality doesn't sound too good try decreasing the volume.

But sometimes even after decrsn the volume the quality isnt gr8 so i reccomend the 'Record Narration' facility in the Windows Movie Maker. Basically the procedure almost the same way, ull figure it out...

download goldwave.... it is a great software and is perfect for you... after installing, in the options choose the input to be the 'mixer'... record all you want...
