How do i activate admin account

I want to activate "Administrator" account (having the name "administrator" )
Can anyone help me.

The Administrator user and password is what was given upon the time of system installation...

Click Start-> Run-> press Enter key. Type "regedit" and press Enter key. Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserLis t" and create a new DWORD value entitled Administrator, give it a value of 1. You're DONE!

Or, use Tweak UI for WinXP and set the Administrator login to appear on the welcome screen... Easier and safer...

try to use it with registry its not complicated.. better not to use 3rd person s/w dude..

Yes, this Registry hack works fine! And that way you can stay away from third-party softwares... That way you can learn some Registry tricks too!

Tweak UI is not a 3rd Party Software... Tweak UI is a Microsoft Add-in... Third Party software indicates software developped by someone other than the OS developper...
