Exclamation Command prompt disabled?


i go to start--->run---->and type cmd...the command prompt opens and then i get a msg that Command prompt disabled by the administrator...It then closes suddenly and i myself is the administrator ...I also get a msg when i type regedit in the run dialog box that registry editing is disabled by the administrator

Looks like someone knowing the Adminstrator password has played spoil-sport.
That person knew these Registry tweaks very well - disabled Command prompt,
also knowing well that you'll edit the Registry to set things right , has disabled
regedit also!! You should never give your Adminstrator password to anyone.
Also don't use English words as passwords, rather use alpha-numeric codes.

Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc.
Goto: User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System.
In right-side pane, Set the values of:

Prevent access to the command prompt &
Prevent access to registry editing tools

to either Not Configured or Disabled.
