Default Which is more reliable-SHaPlus or DU Meter?

Hi!I am a new user to BSNL DATAONE.I am on the Statrup 250 Plan and so very paranoid of the bandwidth usage. Was using both ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter 1.0 and DU Meter 3.0(build id 200) to check usage.Problem is the usage is shown differently in each.In fact usage shown by DU Meter is far higher than ShaPlus.
Question is:which do i trust??
Please help!

Shaplus is better. It can calculate the averaged overlapped usage. For the latest version of it search at http://www.shaplus.com/dataone/

du meter calculates the bandwidth used by ur pc directly

shaplus downloads the data from bsnl's server , adds em up and gives u the result. i prefer the use of both
