Unhappy Partioning Problem Seagate 250 Sata


i
Newely pueches the seagate 250sata HDD My PC Conf is 512mb Ram,3.0Ghz L2 2Mb,915GAV LG CDRW,
i partioning with Partion Magic 8.05 it shows my hdd is 131gb and create partion of 131gb only What about 119 GB ,131+119=250GB how can it display all space. what Problem is ?

There is no problem with your harddisk. Since XP can't show more than 137 GB,
because of Windows 137 GB barrier is also called 48-bit Logical Block Addressing
Support for ATA (IDE), Serial ATA disc srives. This 137 GB barrier doesn't affect the
SCSI interface disc drives. you need to install the SP 1 & 2.
