Well, the final build of Vista might, but hey, i already have plans (and space ) to download Vista Beta 2 off a torrent .

So is it a good option ?? Or shud i stick to the regular Windows in a 5gb partition routine ??

Default Re: Partitioning ..........

Its better to keep separate partition for Program Files, Cache, Installing s/wares, Games, Music, Movies, Backup (most important) and Linux.

In Digit's June, 2006 issue on partitioning HDD, a clear idea is given on How-To partition ur HDD effectively to extract maximum and quick performance. If u can get tat Article, it will help u alot in understanding the difference it makes by keeping separate partitions for Program Files (for OS) and separate partition working as ur Cache Memory.

NOTE: By making separate partition for Program Files and Cache, ur HDD will perform better, defrag better and hv a longer life with all files kept in proper place for execution (by the OS)

Cheers n e-peace.....
