HI ...
Please help me !!!
I'm gettin pop-ups (ads) ... with URL : www.ad-w-a-r-e.com, http://www.redemption-slip.com... etc..
Ive blocked pop-ups.... no change!!!
Also ive installed "Spybot - Search & Destroy"... but it is unable to block them!!!! (NOTE : I use both Opera 8.5 .. and IE 6 .... these ads pop up on both browsers!!!!)
I had used Limewire long back... and unusual downloads happened(automatically) and after all that these ads started to pop up!!!!

I think you have some really nasty spyware....

Install latest fully updated Avast Antivirus and run a full system scan and get rid of most of the viruses and trojans it finds....

For those tough DLL files which cannot be deleted, use killbox. If kill box also fails use a boot up floppy and boot from it and delete those nasty dll files...

u can add open pages in its black list easily.

run updated scans of adaware and win defender (or ms antispy) in SAFE MODE. restore ur browser settings using ms antispy. lock up ur homepage using spybot.

try a scan by spyware doctor and webroot spysweep , trial versions r enough

Use Ad-Aware Pro Version, update the definition files, boot into safe mode and do a full scan of the system. Delete anything that is detected. Remember to turn off system restore before scanning....Also install good pop-up blockers like Hitware Popup Killer Lite from :http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/mi...wpopblock.html
