Default cdrom & RW help ???


i use w2k ... now whenever i try 2 access a cd from cdrom or RW ... it takes a lot of time ... & after

sometime a window pops up ... which is displayed for hardware removal ... asking me that these drives r

removed ... & if i click ok, both of my drives disappear ... ie they r removed from my explorer ...

whot should i do ???

give specs for ur m/b bios version and other details . u get this error in event viewer and an icon in tray stating drive removed ??? check a similar prob i had and almost fixed by now . if u need more help do tell.
