Default Automatic Power on and Shutdown


hey guys ,
how can i schedule my Pc for auto power on , i use a ASUS Bios which does not support auto power on . I can get some software for automatic shutdown .....but i havent found any solution for automatic power on from shutdown state.....can anybody help me out??

never heard of any software for Auto power on......
thinking on it......
is it possible.......if ur system is off....how can a software run????????

auto power on is not supported by any current peripherals, but you can do auto-shutoffs by using timer softwares.

Try auto power on & shutdown software. You have to place your system in hibernate state for the software to work.

That's right. If you put your System in hibernate mode , then the software can
auto power-on. Auto-shutdown can be done by creating a task to Shutdown,
and adding it to the task-scheduler. Do remember that hibernate mode consumes
a little power!!

It is poossible if u hav electricity supply

Go to bios>Power mgmt(or similar stuff)>APM(auto power on or mgmt)

Enable power on by rtc alarm/alarm

Select the day(s) u wanna boot ur pc automatically.

Done, make sure u dont switch off the electricity source

Am not sure but does APC UPS service have some stuff on auto power on in case its connected to the PC via a serial cable? I am just guessing, not sure as I said before.

but as i said before ......i use a ASUS BIOS ....which doesnt have a auto power on feature in it ....and auto power on and shutdown software is a trialware which i already used up......isnt there any other software like Auto power on and shut down??
