Mcafee old Superdats

Hi

I have Mcafee 9 with quite old virus definitions. The virus definition is at 4570. I could not update Mcafee because of unavailability of Internet access at my house. Now I am seeing that the lastest level of virus definition is 4786. I have downloaded that Superdat file from Mcafee. The difference between the levels is of almost 200. Is it ok to run this new Superdat file? Will the definitions be updated properly? Is there some site from where I can get the old Superdats?

I still do not have the net access, so automatic updates are not possible.

antivirus signature files are generally cumulative, so simply go ahead with updating your av.

but remember, superdat won't update your av's scanning engine etc. it'll only update it's virus definition count.

I did upgrade it bit it gave me a error about unable to find valid product. i think i'll have to update my virus engine also. Can anybody tel me from where i can get the engine update
