better than what I have!

I think a good and experienced user can get best output out from even 486. the best PC is of no use to people who don't know what it can be used for.

Rating your system this way ...First the good specs
1)Pinnacle PCTV Pro . A wonderful card
2) Sony DVD RW DRU 530A (8x 4x 16x) Good
3) Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 (Tilt Wheel) ( Nedless to say )
4)Samsung 160 GB SATA
Specs you should have avoided
1) XFX nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 LE 256 MB DDR .. LE version is low end version of FX5700.... You could have easily got your self Ati 9600 or atleast 5700 Ultra.
2) 15" HP Pavilion Monitor... 17' Flat monitor are the norm today.
3) Decibel Congo Spekers + Woofer 2400 W...you could go for Creative or Altec Lansing ATP 3 kind of speakers in the same range...

However overall a good system... I liked your storage capacity of drives.
Enjoy

dont buy XFX cards !!
they are CRAP
i know cos i used one
as for the rest of the congif it's decent m8
but am sure u could have gone for a AMD processor with a nforce 2 motherboard atleast
cos considering the rest of the system specs the processor and GFX look CRAP
no offenses meant
and PLEASE dont use 15" monitor on that system it's criminal damage !!

take care
enjoy

Pinncale PCTV a wonderful card ? install it and please verify it yourself , they advertise that it can encode Mpeg1/2 in real time , but after capturing if you previw the movie it appears cartoonish , makes a 30 mins movie to a 10 min one , all in fast forward mode , haha , and guess what , i was not the only one , if you login to the company site forum , there are hundreds of them , maybe more , and the tech support people never returns a call
