whenever i am connected to internet , every minutes messg. similar to this messages are popping up. i am really fed up with these. how to get rid of these messg. i am using firefox as my default browser, zonealarm as firewall, norton 2005 as antivirus.

recently i have upgraded my sytem to p4, win 2K. only after upgradation problem starts occuring.

first i thought that this could be a message from microsoft and hence i have visited the sites mentioned here, but they dose look like of Microsoft's. hence i dare not to donload anything from there.

I have norton 2005( which has protection against adware as well as spywares ) installed , updated regularly and scanned too. still why the problem occures ?

anyway, the solution given by kalpik was perfect and i could get rid of those horrifying messages by every now & then.

anything else is required to do ? or whatever done was sufficient ?

@everyone: No, its not virus, spyware, adware, poop! It was just the messenger service! And there is no way you can get infected through the messenger service.

@shreyadr: If im not wrong, you dont have Service Pack 2 Installed. Install it as soon as possible, and install a good firewall. Also run a full system scan just in-case
