cdrom 40pin conector to cdplayer

can u pls tell me the cd drive 40 pinconectors information i want to use my cd rom as mp3/cd palyer and to paly cds without the help of computer
i hve did so that i conected my cd rom to smps and there is a audio out pins to listen songs its only to listen songs not to dispsly how i convet my cd rom into cd player pls anybody help me

Oh you have got it all wrong the cd rom can play only audio cd to listen to the music put in a jack into the headphone socket if there or use the analog data out connector at the back to hook up the cdrom (you can use the digital port also but it is a bit tricky) there is no connection made to the 40 pin connector also you cannot play mps or any other format on the cdrom.
