WOW!! Firefox blocked almost 90% of the popups.
But firefox failed to block dropdown popup, Sticky popup only and it opened all the good pop ups

all in Firefox's internal Popblocker Rocks 8). Those who still stuck with IE switch now!!!

my firefx 1.0 final failed only with dropdown popup and sticky popup
and my ie6 sp2 with pop up blocker enabled was not able to block airplane one as well
ie6 sp2 with pop up blocker turned off and google bar failed many times

The conclusion - firefox is naturaly the best, ie6 with microsoft updates is also a very good option, google bar blocks pop up but not all of them

Am using the google toolbar on IE6.
Tried all the tests and didnot recieve even a single popup.
Recieved the popups after holding the ctrl key.
I believe google toolbar is very effective.

I'm using both IE6 and Firefox 1.0 Final. Had similar results with both! Btw, I've SP2 installed.

Default My Opera 7.6.7321 failed 4 tests

Hi,

My Opera 7.6.7321 failed 4 tests.

1> Floating Window (could see the pop-up, but it was not floating)

2> Animated Airplane

3> Sticky (Follows you as you scroll down/up)

4> Drop Down

Nice site to test!

Bye!

firefox 1.0 blocked all pop-ups except two: the dropdown popup and the sticky popup....but why to bother when i cud remove them with a right click?
and it allowed all good popups.

FOX ROXXX...no additional s/w required

btw...IE failed to block the floating popup, the dropdown popup and the sticky popup...and there was no option to remove them either...but who uses IE anyways (but IE allowed the good popups)
