Default on startin


When i power on my PC it says me Insert any boot device or select any boot device and then restart my pc.
but without doing anything when restart it works fine!

recently i formated C: and D: and have installed Win XP in c:. At that eevn i took out my hdd once. so what should i do now?

It means you system is looking for an OS at the wrong place and when it found no OS over there it gives the message. But when u press the enter it goes to next drive to check for OS, where on finding the OS it simply boots.................!!!!!!!!!!!
