Music from Cd Rom Drive.

hai frens,

As we have a seperate earphone jack in almost all Cd-Rom Drives, but why is it that i cant hear any music when i plugged my ear phones. Is that
i have to change certain settings in my computer. Please help me to solve this problem.

u goto connect the sound cable to ur sound card from ur cd rom drive.

but still i dont c the use of tht option coz u need to hav ur computer switched on to listen to music...( which u can do with ur speaker set ).




P.S
I saw an ad when Acer Computers said one can listen to music with their computer switched off...i wonder how
