Hi people,

Iam having 2.66 intel processesor mounted on 845GL board & palnning to upgrade it.
Do anibody have suggestion for good motherboard featuring PCI-E support, upto 4GB RAM support since Iam unable to pin down one. I basically going to use to 3-D gaming and multimedia.
OR
Should I go for AMD soc 939 3000+ proc??
Do recommend me a decent board?? my investment for this is 25000/- bucks!!

AMD X2 3800+ & ASUS A8N-SLI

I am not sure abt the cost of the mobo, but i hope its very well under 25k

Iam going for a total upgrade i.e I want the cost of the system including RAM DDR 400 512MB , DVD writer (LG), graphic card!!!
Please do advice?

U mean u wanna get everything in 25k
if its so...then probably there isnt a need to upgrade ur current configuration. Just buy additional ram stick and a mid-range gfx card like x1300 Pro(AGP)
This upgrade shud cost in 10-12k

IN cASe u decide to extend ur budget and achieve a better config then ur current one...(i m not very sure abt the prices..check them in the prices thread b4 buyin)
AMD x2 3800+ = 14k
Asus A8NE = 5-6k
Nvidia 7600 GT/Ati x850 PE/nVidia 6600 GT= 15k/10k/7k
RAM @ DDR 400 Mhz 512 MB Kingston= ::dunno::
DVD writer @ LG = 3k (choose BenQ instead)

Does ur mobo have a AGP slot..If yes then get a Mid range graphics card with some ram.....

If u want to get a new mobo+ processor then
AMD Athlon64 3000+/3200+
AUSU A8N-E or ASUS A8N VSM

my mobo has only onboard grafix yar!
Hey do you know the rates following??
1.A8NVM-CSM or K8n diamond
2.amd 3200/3500+ 64 bit
I heard all this things along with mem, writer, speakers come around 29k??
Is that true????
