Default challenge for u guys

i hav a 128kbps shared net connection which fluctuates from 2KBps to 30KBps.
sometimes even 2-3MB is downloaded in few sec.
i guess my net provider doesn't hav any good software for distributing bandwidth.
can something be done that i will get good speeds more than my plan speed(16KBps).
thanks in advance.
any further suggestions would be appreciated.

use down load managers. They will surely make your downloads more speedy, especially since you have written that there is no control on bandwidth.

I suggest that u get rid of that worthless no good connection of urs, and take BSNL Dataone (preferably the new unlimited Home 900 plus) connection.

If u r going 4 Dataone, go 4 unlimited usage else the usage calculation of urs and BSNL will surely differ and you have to pay the difference. It is from my personal experience.
