What is the difference between LE,GT,XT,Ultra

Hi all,My name is deepchand.

I would like to know about the difference btwn
GFX 5700LE
GFX 5700
GFX 5700GT
GFX 5700U

i have also heard about XT,something like ZT also but not in GFX 5700 and I dont know whether GFX 5700 has the 2 types mentioned.If u can get me their full forms i will be very gratefull.

to my belife they differ in the number of pixels pipelines.anyway plz post as many information as u can.....

5700LE and 5700XT are slower versions of 5700. 5700U is fastest abd 5700 is in the middle.
All have 4 pipelines but LE and XT have slower core and memory speeds.

5700LE/XT<5700<5700U

u can convert a 5700le into 5700U by a Vbios update. update vbios with that of 5700U and be sure 2 backup old bios.one word of caution here. ur GFX might not be able to take the frequencies of a Ultra so first check its overclockability

Theres is no GT for the 5700 afaik, the LE is a vendor introduced cheap version of te 5700 pure. Basically there is one thing among all the cards, they are crap when considering the price/performance ratio. If u are planning to buy one, skip them and get a Ati Radeon 9600pro or 9600 XT.

dude never ever do that bios flash for 5700LE.
The 5700LE dosent have molex connector that Ultra has. the memory is much slower. You will have 1 nice paper weight if you flash LE to ultra.
There are few LEs that come with molex which can be moded but not all.
