( i've searched it and cudnt find .. so im posting )

I run Apache+PHP in WinXP Pro for my LAN

1. Is there a software which can display my access log in a rather more elegant way

2. Is it possible to tell apache that there is no need to log the GET commands form my own ip ( 10.*.*.* ) . cos 70% of my log is filled by my own ip's requests. i want to see how many other ppl access my webpage

3. I get this very frequently on my error.log ... what is it??

1. some log analizers

2. I dont think you can skip logs from perticular IP i suppose...

3. it is showing error coz in one of your pages you want to link the files from yahoo but by mistake you forgot to put http:// so it is taking from root directory and showing in error log coz file is not there...

now this is the best part ...

there is no "/us.yimg.com/" anywhere in my comp or on my website
its propped up from nowhere
im not able to understand which program sends these requests to port80
its not my webpage atleast

then 2nd possibility is...

You are accesing some page of some other server and it had wrong source URL i.e. URL starting with http://localhost/.........

coz port scanners generally dont search for these kind of files...

EDIT: I checked the Js file on yahoo site, it seems that it is for displaying ad banners...

so u think that may yimg is request comes from yahoo messenger or some other yahoo site

the real culprit was somewhere else ...
actually i have KazaaLite installed in my comp ...
K-Lite installs a file called Hosts in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc directory
these are a few lines from Hosts file
