Default AVI to DVD

I have a few movies of approx. 700 MB in avi format. Some even have subtitles. How do i burn 3-4 of these files on to a single DVD (not a dual layered DVD) with menu which can be seen on TV. If possible, i dont want to use Nero products because they are too slow.

you can use roxio easy media creator v 8 for this purpose. remember that video encoding will always take some time. so be patient. the part about dual layer dvd thing i couldn't understand. who told you that writing 700 mb will require a DL DVD. first of all DL DVD can accommodate more than 8 gb. not many writers can write on to these either

I'd mentioned about the Dual layered DVD to specifically mention that i want 3-4 movies on a normal DVD (whose size is around 4500 MB). I'll try the sw u've suggested.
