Default Best Non Sli Card ??


i looking for the Best Non Sli mobo from asus for an amd x2 4800+ ???

ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 is the best card i can get ??

Yes. The A8N-E is the best non SLI card from Asus. You can look to other companies if you want something else. A MSI mobo might have more features while a DFI mobo would be even better for overclocking. But ASUS remains the best overall choice.
Make sure you get rev 2 of the A8N-E and not rev 1. The older piece may have a problem with the northbridge fan.

hmm..descent mobo.
But i would definitely suggest to go with MSI platinum series.
Their quality of components,life and overall stability is amazing.

Asus A8N-E AMD Athlon 64 socket-939 PCI-Express motherboard .

great overclocking option.
Multiplier options 4x to 20x in 0.5x steps
PCI/AGP speeds PCI-E freq 100 to 200MHz in 1MHz steps
Bus Speed options 200 to 400MHz in 1MHz steps


everthing is fine about this board. (except doesn't have firewire port.)any why to buy SLI if you are not going to use dual graphic card.
