Pls Help Me out as I feel, i have been cheated

My computer BIOS shows 512MB(400MHz) but at POST I get the message that DDR 333 (Operating in single channel dynamic paging mode). Which one is supposed to B true. Cant I use the full 400Mhz of the system memory. Pls help!!!

if ur using pentium core below 533 mhz then ur ram will automatically run at ddr333
i need a 533 or 800mhz fsb processor to make it run at ddr400

well even 533 MHz CPU will use 333Mhz.
Well it depends on how it is configuered in bios.
The boot screen will report the wat its configuered andnot actiual hardware.
If in advance settings its configuered to run at 333 Mhz it will report 333Mhz at boot screen.
Which motherboard you have and how many memory chips you are using?

read before u post man .. HE has configures it as 400mhz in the BIOS ...
