disconnection of dial up connection

Hi

1. when connected to the net if the power goes immediately the net stops working. What relation it got with power supply?

2. Exactly after 2hrs to 2hrs 5 min the connection gets disconnected why?

Please help.

U using Sancharnet? Coz it Sancharnet internet dis-connects after every 2 hrs for no reason.

In your internet explorer click

Tools > Internet Options > Connection > Settings > Advanced

A dialog box (See the attached picture) opens. Here you can set the options to disconnect from internet.

Hi Iam using Netscape 7 for browsing, what to do in this case?

First tell that u using sancharnet or not? If u r using it that u can't do anything abt that prob of getting disconnected after every 2 hrs.

since Iam using sanchar net i did not tell about that otherwise I would have mentioned about it,what chirag?
