Default media center 2005 help pls!!

Media center 2005 is a 2 cd installation and the problem is that when the setup asks for the cd2, even after inserting the cd, it asks for a particular file, which is in one of the .cab file in the cd but the setup is not able to read the cab file from the cd!!i tried this cd on my friends come and it gave me the same error....I tried to manually extract the files from the .cab file but it gives the message that there isin't sufficient disk space on my hard-disk even though i still have 30gb free!!However some files WERE extracted..but not all..and YES MY CD IS FREE FROM SCRATCHES!!!
