I got Firefox 1.0 before it's OFFICIAL LAUNCH by Mozilla Community... 
well ....

Its automatic. If any site supports RSS / XML feeds, you can bookmark normally. The bookmark gets updated automatically..

there were few problems with old extensions not running on the RC release..
I use the following extensions ...
any idea which of these may run in 1.0 release ..

I liked it but found bit uncomfortable with extensions management......................bcoz without extensions itz "just another browser"....now I downloaded the newer version n it's extensions(4 eg.............mouse gestures)n now it rocks...........................
Can ne1 tell me how to make FF to open a link in new tab rather than opening in another window.I mean suppose I visit a website...........I click on a link in it which is pointed to open in new window......why should it be opened in new window as FF suports tabbed browsing.I have no such problems in my fav. browser Opera

you need TabBrowser Preferences Extension

and yes hard rock .. you are partially right
without extensions FireFox doesnt have any glory ..
but its still better than Opera simply cos it supports javascripts ..
and displays pages better ... better than Opera most of the times
