Default Speed demons- hdd


i would like to buy a new external harddisk .I want to know which would be faster a usb 2.0 based device or a firewire based device.

The Maxtor II 250/300GB Harddisc is 7200rpm and has two Firewire and one USB2 ports. However my suggestion is if you are not using this harddisc for video capturing purpose then buy an internal hard disc with a casing. It will cost you less.

Also look out for Seagate and Western Digital products.
But still i would too prefer to have firewire.
