dvd-rom price

i am looking forward to buying a DVD-ROM.i wanna enjoy all the DVDs of DIGIT,thats why.
My Budget is-Rs. 1500(or add 100 or 200 more to that).
Tell me a good buy.also tell me is the digit dvd offer is liable now.

dont go for.... digit offer....

i have samgung dvd rom, which costed rs 1800, when i brought 5 months back, now it costs only rs 1600.

but many members say sony is their best bet...., it costs rs. 1600 too....

btwn, why dont u search?their has a number of threads regarding this...(and i cant search for u)

Pls don't go for samsung ODD, it will cause u a lot of pain as i with my three friends r suffering.

some may say, sony, other liteon, but samsung has been doing great for me......
i have a cd rom drive of samsung and even after 5 yrs, it is doing well...and the dvd rom which i brought b4 5 months also works good....

it all depends on ur preference...., almost most of the drives are equall according to me....,

Dont go for Sony...I got one 2 days back and the problem im facing is it doesnt read DVD's written @ 4X Speed

However it does read them whn I put it after reading a Orginal DVD written @ a higher speed Hop u get it

so my friend has asked me to change it to ASUS DVD ROM

and I am gonna do that ...and will tell u how it is


and as techno said go for Liteon ...or wait till I tell u about ASUS DVD ROM
