Default More RAM !!!!


Hi friends
I would like to ask how to find out the maximum amount of RAM supported by my PC. How do I know about it???
I have a: P-4 845 GEBV2 Motherboard with onboard graphics.

I think its 2 GB.. 1 GB per slot..

I lost my manual.Thats why I asked here

kalpik, are u sure that it is 2 GB. I hav 256 MB RAM at present and I want to add a 1 GB extra RAM into it

Im not very sure! The only way to be absolutely sure is to insert a 1GB module and test it! Sorry..

Why not visit the Mobo manufacturer's website, see the online user manual and you can be very much sure about the RAM supported. Also you can save it for future guidance.

P-4 845 GEBV2 Motherboard supports a maximum of 2GB RAM. However it is advisable that if your old RAM is 256MB then you should try to purchase another 256MB. If they are not matched your PC will not run and your vendor may refuse to change it.

2gb ram support... plz also check fsb speeds beofre buying new ram modules...
