Proxy

I am using BSNL Dataone to access the net over a proxy. Whenever I try to update AVG AntiVirus or run LimeWire, the cannot connect to the net and ask for proxy server address which i don't know. Plz tell me how can i configure LimeWire and AVG Update Program's settings to make them work.
