Default drive E:/ is lost...plz help


hello frnds..
One of my frnd reinstalled window xp..but after installation the drive E:/ is not present in my computer.

The PC is brand compaq PC..with hard disk capacity 32 GB..Earlier he was having all the 32 GB in c:/ drive.Than he reinstalled the window xp and made 3 partion as follow
c:/ of 10GB
d:/ of 10 GB
e:/ of rest space(around 12 GB)

But after installation only c:/ and d:/drive is seen each of 10 GB.

Where the rest 12 GB space is lost of e:/ drive.

plz help me to recover the e:/ drive

Just Right click on My Computer.click on Manage.
Then under Storage click on Disk Management.You will see your 2 drives c & d .and some unpartitioned space.Right click on it and create a logical drive and format it with fat32 or Ntfs whichever u use.
Or you can use soft like Partition Magic .

@ ::vicky:: - Err, what did u mean by that?

@author - The partition must have been deleted while boot-installing XP, so if any data is on it its gone to get the drive though, follow nach p's istructions

thanx nach p...ur solution worked and now I have recover all my disk space.

I was able to solve my problem without magic partion.

@qwert : i mean may e he have installed an drive diding program whick most tweaking programmes offer
