Sound not coming!

I'm facing a weird sound problem. when i'm speaking in my microphone then my sound is coming from d speakers but when i'm playing winamp jetaudio quicktime no voice is coming. even the music which is played while u r cheking out d cd by digit is not coming. wat cud b d problem?

few days earlier i've installed dfx for winamp but i unistalled it after i faced this problem but yet facing d same problem. i 've reinstalled d drivers for my sound card but its yet not working. help me pls.

check the volume settings in control panel may be u have slected default audio device as the modem or may be wave bar is down
