Default no names in task manager

I have the following problem on my Windows XP. The user names in Task
Manager have disappeared. Only one is shown, 'SYSTEM', near 'System Idle
Process'. All other processes have an empty user name (nothing is shown in
the 'User Name' column.

I tried doing web searches with Google but I
didn't find anything

Has anyone seen something like this, or perhaps does anyone know how I
could
get those usernames back there?

Thanks

This was the case with me too when I had only 1 user account in my sys. When I created another one it started showing... perhaps its the same case here...

Happened to me one time, when I installed Windows XP Edited by nLite, actually I removed many components from the setup and I think I also removed some essential components, which caused this problem!

I think u hv accidently disabled some required services, thats why its not giving the username!
