i used to like realone player
but ever since it started showing double/ wrong names for my songs
( i have 1.5 gb of english and hindi songs) after tagging from net with a 3rd party trial software i removed it

i use music match 8.10 with dfx, lakepls , mp3 remix plugins and find it veerry good for songs and is very good due to its super tagging feature from net and renaming.

also wmp9 is very good due to its super tagging feature from net
and for movies.i use anark, dfx and many plugins
but i cant vote 2 times for both. i just wish both cud play ogg vorbis.

tell ya wat guys... da best media player i hav ever seen is XingMpeg player..

n da second best is Zoom Player...

Overall I like MM JB.
But I use winamp a lot.
Realone not much as it consumes lots of resource.

Winamp 2.xx for mp3s (i didnt like Winamp3)
Power DVD 4.0/XP for DVDs and MPEGs (for the TruSurround effect)
Windows Media Player 9.0 for WMV (no other player plays these files)
DivX for AVI (no 2 questions about that)
Real One V2 Gold for Real audio/video (this version is cool)

VCD Cutter to cut the MPEG clips (i dont know of any other software

)
Smart Ripper to rip DVDs (happy with this one)

wow i didnt realise i was using so many players so often. but mostly its Winamp and Power DVD that i have short-cut keys for on my keyboard.

i love MMJB and lately i've taken a liking to Winamp 5 rc8.
for video stuff BSPlayer is the best cause it's light.
also i installed the lake plugin but everytime i click on the 'View' menu on MMJB, it crashes. i re-downloaded n re-installed but nothing. ne help???

well though i didnt have this kindof prob?
but my MMJB crashed saying , software error

so i removed MMJB, left the plugins -but u remove those plugins that cuase it to crash too

then i cleaned the registryusing softwares like, NU 2003's Windoctor, systemmechanic 4, and registry clean expert. and then restarted the system.
then restarted and
then no probs.

Before a year Xing was best for me also but Its development is very slow now.
For me best is Zoom Player, BS Player and yes who can forget about Winamp 5
