How to Change The Drive NAme ?????

2day i Buyed New 200 GB SATA HDD..

i formated N Installed Media center 2005

My D Drive IS Showin.. DVD ROM

N I IS Showin.. Hard disk Drvie..

You mean u wanna chage the drive letters right? Do it from disk management (right click my computer, select manage. You'l fine disk management there). Hust right click on the drive and select change drive letters and paths..

U can change the drive letter by using the Disk Management tool provided in XP (Control Panel-->Administrative Tools-->Computer Management)

U hv to make the desired drive letter free, if u want to use it for other drive!

Regarding to the first pic, simply assign J to your DVD drive, then D: will be free, then u can assign D: to ur desired partition...
