k500i + connectivity

hey guys...
i have a sony ericsson k500i which has a ir port. 7 yrs back when got a tv tuner card....i had got a ir reciever which goes into a serial port for the remote controller. i could never get it up and working cause i had never got any drivers for the thing...and actually never required it. but now i want to use it to transfer pics from my phone to my comp. how do i get it workin?? all it says behind the device is 'Proling Remote System', and it has a ir reciever...('black plasticky thing').....on the front. how du i set it up on win xp??

On most of the webites, in the reviwe of K500i it is written there that it has a USB Port.
Can any body here tell me where is USB port in K500i ?

If anyone can provide the photo, i will be really thankfull.

I also want to know what is the transfer speed of Irda from PC to mobile in respect of MB/ min, coz yesterday i transfered a 2.4 Mb mp3 file and it took about 6-7 minutes in that process.

Is that speed ok or is there any problem in my USB-Irda or Handset.

The USB port is on the bottom... near the QUICKSHARE symbol.. read the manual... the whole length of the pins is the USB port.. same place where u charge the phone..
