How to use Adsense ?

I have my personal blog at http://wordpress.com/

I want to use Google adsense in this so that i can make a bit of money

Can anyone please guide me step by step process ?

u wont be able to coz wordpress site doesnt allow editing theme files.. however if u can start ur blog on www.blogger.com and then sign up for adsense, then u can make money with adsense coz blogger allows editing of theme files
