counter strike help !!

hi guys

i have recently installed half life and counter strike 1.5 . the problem is tht wen i try 2 play cs on lan it shows an error tht it cannot load a " d:\games\half life\cstrike\cl_dlls\client.dll

so plz can neone of u help me . can ne cs fanatic pass me d file or tell me a solution. i have installed and reinstalled d whole game score of times .

i am desperate

plz help !!!!!

client.dll is very common problem with cs ..
i used to get it very often while connecting ..

i wud have loved to help u .. but unfortunately i have cs1.6 on my comp
and im not able to get hold ot cs1.5 setup ..

look for any friend's comp .. and simply copy past client.dll

wats d diff. between cs 1.5 and 1.6 . also wat is this steam client tht needs 2 be downloaded

r u using the original cs1.5 or a ripped version ...
steam client is one way to avoid game piracy ..
ripped version has this disabled

Non steam versions are available But forget 1.5 or 1.6
CS: Source final is out now...amazing changes in textures cos u know its the hl2 engine its just amazing shooting n rolling drums in the maps ....physics has improved like anything in cs:source .

yeah CSS totally rules, im playin the Emperio version, and they have loads of servers for that. I somehow didnt see this post earlier.
