There are a few localisations. The most prominent that I can think of is desi audibles in hindi.

It sucks the same. I prefer to stick with old v6 It was a great design. The new v7 and successors are stupid shits. They do not have control page for file transfers. It also doesnt shuts the voice when switching chat rooms. Also ids are not differentiated in the chat box rather, you gotta look the title bar. Lol it sucks so bad.

I hate Yahoo messenger...Windows Live Messenger BETA itself is far far far better than Yahoo Messenger....Y! Messenger seriously sucks now...Its a old program they need to change the interface need to make it more fancy like Windows Live Messenger...Its very good to look at...

You are wrong. The functionalities of both the versions are more or less same. There are just a few additional ones in international versions.
