Default Uploading my on-the-comp site


Hi,

I made a site. It''s about my school. It's curretntly on my PC in the mydoc. folder. How can i upload it onto te net?

Im using dreamweaver and am going to use 50webs domain...

U must have recieved a email from 50webs telling u about the FTP address, id and password... use any FTP software like FlashFXP, CuteFTP etc and open that site and transfer all your files there.. most probably on 50webs.com you have to upload it to the public_html folder...

Your IE browser is also an FTP client. Though not an efficient one it can do the job for you. try ftp://yourname.50webs.com (or what ever name they've sent you in the mail.). It will ask for your password. Give the password and all the folders will be shown to you by IE like the normal explorer. Drag & drop your files.

after signup they must have given u detailed instructions how to upload...follow 'em and it'll b easy
geberally ftp progs can be the better option over the online file upload manager these hosts offer
